Centre is made in a kiln

Then the petals and centre is fused together using what is called frit (glass glue - tiny shards of glass that melt quickly and hold glass together to create the sunflower.

On average without all the cutting of glass and creating the sunflower would spend a minimum of 60 hours in the kiln.

Then drilled and beaded to hang on a wall or fixed pane window
